To strengthen our team at the Trusetal location, we are looking for a
Truck Driver (m/f/d) in Local Transport.
As a truck driver m/f/d, you ensure that the galvanizing material is picked up from the customers, arrives at the galvanizing plant in proper condition and is delivered back to the customer after galvanizing.
Your main tasks:
- Collection of the galvanizing material from the customers
- Marking the goods during loading
- Checking the goods for completeness based on the customer’s delivery note
- Customer advice as part of the sales driver training with the contents of the driver’s folder
- Delivery of the galvanized goods to the customer against signature, possibly against cash payment
- Collecting cash payments
- Loading and unloading the truck
- Load securing
- Monitoring and organization of the timely and proper maintenance of the trucks
Your secondary tasks:
- Monitoring the truck for roadworthiness and operational safety
- Cleanliness of the vehicle
- Customer advisor / customer support
- Ensuring sufficient and functioning load securing equipment
- Refueling the vehicle.
