As a tanker driver at Schenk, you are responsible for the safe transport, loading, and unloading of (motor) fuels or gases. You follow procedures meticulously and enjoy administrative work. You will visit various unique locations, including petrol stations, industrial companies, specialized businesses, hospitals, laboratories, the glass industry, and construction. For the transport of tank containers, the port of Rotterdam is your base.
Because this position involves a lot of responsibility, the training period consists of 3 to 4 weeks. During this period, you will be trained by an experienced mentor driver, and after this period, you can go out independently.
Shift patterns:
1: Day shift Mon\/Friday 10-12 hours, Night shift Mon\/Friday 10 hours per night
2: 3 day shifts, 1 recovery day, 3 nights, 3 days off, weekend is always included in the schedule.<\/p>\n
Job requirements:
– You are presentable and have a neat appearance
– ADR Basic & Tank certificate
– Minimum 12 months driving experience with driving a tractor\/trailer
– Good numerical skills and technical insight
– Driving license CE + code 95
– Safety is your top priority
