In order to best support our client in their recruitment projects, we are looking for the best heavy truck and/or articulated truck drivers (M/F) for them!!!!
Like a heavy truck driver, as an articulated truck driver, you will transport goods from one point to another in a truck. You will drive a 38-ton vehicle, and by derogation up to 44 tons. Its tractor can pull a single trailer or a semi-trailer for holders of a Class E license.
Highly experienced articulated truck drivers may be required to drive categories of vehicles with indivisible mass: exceptional convoys (oversized loads). As with heavy truck drivers, driving occupies a large part of the time. But you will also need to ensure the proper loading of your truck or trailer at departure and arrival.
You will be responsible for administrative tasks and will sometimes play a commercial role.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Your role will not be limited to driving a vehicle. Preparing the truck before departure (cleaning, washing, checking),
loading the truck, or ensuring its proper execution, ensuring the conformity of the load (weight, load distribution, compliance with regulations for the transport of dangerous goods),
uncovering/recovering the trailer and/or semi-trailer,
monitoring unloading,
completing administrative documents: delivery notes, invoices, customs formalities,
keeping the logbook up to date,
ensuring truck maintenance: oil change, greasing, and arranging for vehicle condition checks (servicing, technical inspection),
reporting any operational or conformity failures of the vehicle – all missions that give meaning, life, and responsibility to your magnificent profession!!!!
