As a truck driver CE, you will supply supermarkets mainly in Germany. You will drive a tractor-trailer or drawbar trailer and deliver pallets using an electric pallet truck. Because the stores are often located in city centers, it may happen that you have to walk a short distance if you cannot park the vehicle directly in front of the door.
Your workday starts between 04:00 and 10:00 AM and your truck is always fully loaded and ready. Your working days are from Monday to Friday and last an average of 10 to 12 hours. You will have 3 to 5 overnight stays per week, which you will always know well in advance. On the way, it may also happen that you pick up additional cargo from a customer.
In this job, you have a lot of freedom, as you are not constantly called by planning. Additionally, we invest in your development: you start for approximately 12 months as a relief driver and once this goes well, you will get your own truck with a fixed route or area. This way you learn the trade step by step and will eventually be completely independent on the road.
Job Requirements
- You are in possession of a CE driving license with valid Code 95 and a driver’s card
- You are flexible, customer-focused, and service-oriented
- You are proficient in the German and/or English language
Employment Conditions
- Hourly wage between €13,- and €18.53 (depending on experience) plus extras
- Driver’s allowance of: €1.50 net per hour (between 06:00 AM – 08:00 PM) or €3.10 net per hour (between 08:00 PM – 06:00 AM)
