As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading all services and simultaneously carrying out on-tarmac deliveries, respecting deadlines and safety rules.
The main responsibilities of the position are as follows:
– Check the distribution of products to be delivered before loading them into catering trucks.
– Ensure the loading of services into catering trucks and their delivery, in accordance with the provisioning plan of Client Airlines.
– Drive a heavy goods vehicle in compliance with road regulations and on-tarmac regulations, in accordance with obtaining a T permit.
– Comply with security measures by securing all products before delivery to the aircraft by sealing the transport equipment and ensuring no prohibited items are present.
– Guarantee the quantitative conformity of flights for our Client Airlines.
– Master on-tarmac driving and aircraft approaches in accordance with theoretical and practical training.
– Ensure the cleaning of the vehicle and its work areas (Departure Fridge, Dock, etc.).
– Daily communicate all malfunctions to the Regulation Department and the Handling Management.
– Complete security, safety, and HACCP documents.
– Check the operational status of the heavy goods vehicle and its equipment before each use.
– Verify the presence and conformity of onboard and transport documents.
– Provide ground guidance assistance to the driver during loading operations for short, medium, or long-haul flights.
– Ensure the completion of various tracking documents (delivery notes, checklist, etc.) before and after each shift.
– Accompany and train new personnel (permanent or temporary) in their integration into the unit, regarding all processes related to flight loading.
